GARDEN THERAPY
Great Group
Or, as we like to call it, "GREAT GROUP".
The story: Dorothy "Doffy" Falk was a long time member of the Boxford Village Garden Club, and in charge of the Garden Therapy program for over 15 years. But Doffy never called it Garden Therapy. She called this group of amazing senior women the "Great Group". The name stuck, and we've called it that ever since.

Great Group is a monthly social event for octogenarians and older held at Four Mile Village, Boxford's Retirement Community. BVGC volunteers bring light refreshments and make crafts with the ladies in a social setting at the Community Hall. A new team is organized with each new administration.
Speaking of Doffy...
For decades, Doffy let us use her property at 2 Elm Street for the BVGC Plant Sale. It was centrally located and secure, and she even let us store our overflow of plastic pots and other accessories in her colonial barn. Doffy transformed the plant sale from a simple fundraiser to an event that celebrated our sisterhood. We will never forget her generosity, her sense of humor, and her love.
