When you join the Boxford Village Garden Club, we make sure you have all the tools you need. Each new member receives a gift bag with a green BVGC apron, a yearbook, informative literature, and most importantly – a mentor to guide them (tiaras optional.)
As our past president Melanie Cullinane always says, “garden club should be fun!” We are definitely here to enjoy ourselves, and our mentors make sure we meet our obligations as well. Because this is a working club, there are certain minimum participation requirements (flexible, of course, due to health challenges.)

Membership chair Susan Giallombardo, returning member Nancy Moore, mentor Ruthann Budrewicz, new member Beth Spence, and mentot Elaine Tarbox

Each member is assigned to a town beautification site upon joining. If their health does not permit them to be this active, there is a refreshment team during Spring and Fall Cleanup days that works indoors as an alternative. There is always a way for each person to be a part of the team, no matter what.
In general, we all volunteer for different kinds of duties and spread the jobs around so that “many hands make light work”. It is a philosophy that has made our club run well for many years.

Join us! We would love to meet you.
NEW MEMBERS WELCOME YEAR ROUND!
