Boxford Village Garden Club members receive exclusive benefits.

ANNUAL LUNCHEON: Our annual luncheon is held every May after our Plant Sale and celebrates the close of our year. Every other year, new officers are inducted in a special ceremony. Reports from all departments are read and recorded, a delicious meal is consumed, and we prepare for the next year ahead.

HOLIDAY LUNCHEON: This special, fun-filled day starts in the morning with coffee and pastries. We spend a few hours creating bows, wreaths, swags and baskets to decorate municipal buildings all over Boxford. We also bring wrapped gifts to donate to a local women's shelter, and dried/canned goods to donate to Boxford's Food Pantry at the First Congregational Church. At 11:30 we stop for a short meeting before our holiday feast, arranged by a special committee. After the festivities are over, we place our gorgeous creations at their locations across town.

NEWSLETTER: A monthly newsletter is emailed to all members containing reminders of upcoming events and deadlines, exclusive offers and educational programs, horticultural and conservation articles, and other relevant information.

TRIPS: Day trips to places such as historical gardens and local Massachusetts events are organized, and sometimes prorated for our members. Past events have included a Cohasset Garden Tour, Rockport Garden Tour, Newburport Holiday House Tour and Beacon Hill Hidden Garden Tour.

WAYS & MEANS: Gardening tools and other related items are provided to the club at low prices. These items are for sale at every General Meeting and most club events where we interact with the public.

WORKSHOPS: Workshops are held year round on subjects such as painting and floral arranging. They can be designed to suit specific needs of the club, and are partially funded.
